What XP is for
XP raises your level. Levels rename your rank and, at published gates, open peels and Pro Servers. Ranks do not change speed or puzzle speed. Each level-up is also described as paying bonus coins.
Actions that are reported to pay XP:
- About 3 XP for finishing a standard puzzle. This is a match-note estimate, not a developer table.
- 2 XP for each cake slice you place on the platter, including the spare eighth slice.
- A flat bonus for escaping or otherwise surviving the round. The exact number is not published.
- XP per eat when you are Banana.
- Shared XP in Infection when an infected teammate gets a down.
Hiding in a locker for the whole round is a poor grind. The clock and the XP both want puzzles.
Multipliers you can stack
The experience page says double XP every weekend, bonus XP for friends in your server, and bonus coins for Roblox Plus. Pro Servers, from level 16, are described on the loading-screen tips as another double XP, and they block mid-round joins. Weekend plus Pro Server is the fastest combination the guides describe. They do not say the two doubles multiply into 4x. Treat that as two separate bonuses until you see both icons at once.
Two rank lists do not match
One catalog lists 13 cosmetic names, in order:
- Unripe I, II, III, IV
- Ripe I, II, III, IV
- Overripe I, II, III, IV
- Legendary
A leveling guide instead says level 1 is Unripe I, levels 76β79 are Moldy IV, and level 80 and above is Legendary. Moldy IV is not a name on the 13-rank list, and that list does not publish a level number for each name. The only level both accounts share is level 16 for Pro Servers and the Pro Peeler badge.
Happy Peel is a separate gate at level 64. That is a peel unlock, not a rank name.
Use the 13 ripening names when you are reading the rank ladder, and use level 16 and level 64 when you are chasing a feature. Do not invent the missing level numbers in between.
