The match you are walking into
Banana Eats puts up to 10 players in one Roblox server. After the lobby vote, one player is Banana and the rest are Runners. Escape mode, the default, starts a 6:00 clock. Runners shrink that clock with puzzles, then leave through two exits that open at 1:00. Banana tries to eat everyone first.
The experience page also lists Infection-style play, and servers can vote other modes. Read Infection and the other modes before you assume every round has exits.
The first 15 seconds
Banana cannot move for the opening 15 seconds. Spread out, find the cake platter, and note vents and lockers. Valve, keypad, and picture puzzles stay covered in slime until Banana enters the map. The cake platter does not, so slices can move during the grace period.
Hearts and the beacon
Runners start Escape with three hearts. A bite removes one, then gives a short speed boost and a shield. While the shield is up you cannot be bitten again and you do not slip on peels. The third heart removes you from the round, and that elimination puts 15 seconds back on the clock.
Every Runner wears a beacon. It stays white when Banana is far away, then shifts color and pulses as Banana closes in. A hard screen shake means Banana is on you. Other players can see the pulses, so a bright beacon is also a tell.
On two-floor maps such as Banana Manor, published layout notes say the beacon reacts when you and Banana share a floor. A calm beacon upstairs does not prove the ground floor is empty. Listen for stairs.
Hiding without getting stuck
Crouch (Ctrl or C on PC) to enter vents. Banana does not fit through a normal vent, but can bite the mouth of the vent or leave a peel on the far side. Lockers work only if your body and health bar stay inside. Banana can break the locker.
Standing in one closet for the whole match does not help the clock. Unfinished puzzles leave you in the last minute with a one-heart Banana who can see locations.
The last minute
At 1:00 both exits open, every living Runner is set to one heart, Banana gains location vision, and a bite is an instant down. Stop solving and run a door. The map catalog lists two exit spots per standard map.
If the vote makes you Banana
You are faster than a healthy Runner. A bitten Runner gets a speed burst, so chasing one freshly hit player across an open aisle often fails. Mark who is already missing hearts, and put peels on the cake plate, vent exits, stair landings, and both doors before 1:00. Peel choices are compared in Peels for Banana.
Coins, XP, and what they do not do
Surviving, puzzles, cake slices, and eats pay coins and XP. Ranks from Unripe toward Legendary are a record of that XP. They do not raise your speed. Weekend double XP and a friend in the same server are the bonuses named on the experience page. Level 16 opens Pro Servers.
